We have probably all heard this quote: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." So it is true with many ventures, and so it is true with Benchworkzz®. Back in 2003 myself and a couple of SAS programmers were doing what all of us SAS programmers spend a lot of time doing: going through the SAS log to see if there were any problems with our programs. Pretty standard procedure for a SAS programmer. Only this time when one of us asked "How come there isn't some kind of tool out there that would make this easier and more accurate?" And the light bulb came on. Thus were the simple and logical beginnings of the first step of Benchworkzz. For those of us who have worked and stayed with Benchworkzz this is not about following a dream but pursuing a passion. A passion to provide quality product solutions to help the programmer do what they do best: program. Whether you just "est drive" the Benchworkzz products or actually purchase our products, your feedback and thoughts are important to us. I hope that you will use this blog to provide your feedback, tips, hints and suggestions on how we can make our products work for you; and help make all of our programming experiences with SAS a better one. Back "in the day" there was a commercial for a hair product company who had a slogan that went like this: "f YOU don't look good, WE don't look good."
